Join the 89 Initiative for their annual policy conference: “Today’s challenges, tomorrow’s solutions: EUrope fit for the future”!

Over the past year, the Initiative’s 12 research teams from Athens, Bruges, and London have investigated asylum provisions during the pandemic, the use of civic education to combat populism, the impact of local climate emergency declarations, the role of predictive analysis for data-driven innovation, and other pressing European policy issues. During their annual flagship conference, the teams will present their findings and make policy recommendations.

From 28th to 30th April, the conference will hold seven exciting panels and two keynote events. Featuring experts from renowned policy institutions across Europe, they will spark cross-continental conversations and debates that span academia and policy, because the big questions often have more than one good answer.
