Othon-Alexandros Kaminiaris-Kontostavlos is a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration. His doctoral research revolves around the European Union's relations with third countries. The thesis will focus on the impact of the EU's climate change policy to the ones of the states forming part of the European Neighbourhood Policy. His research is part of the UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy.
Since 2016, he has been a Junior Research Fellow at the Institute of European Integration and Policy, where he participates in research and educational programmes. He is also a Board Member of the Political Science and Public Administration Alumni Association. He is the president of the Communication and Events Committee and the co-ordinator of the ECOSOC research Group, formed under the Special Consultative Status the Association holds at the ECOSOC.
