The Institute of European Integration and Policy prepares two international virtual simulations that will take place in March 2021.

One will be the Conference of the Parties, known as the COP, of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, organized under the Jean Monnet Module 'European Climate Diplomacy'. Participants will be invited to represent countries from around the world and negotiate a more climate-friendly strategy.

The other will focus on the European Commission and negotiate on the EU green deal, just transition, and the European Union's international role in combating climate change. This simulation is organized in collaboration with Europe Direct ELIAMEP.

Bonus fact: Representatives of the European Commission simulation will discuss their results with the EU Member States representatives in the COP simulation!

Both simulations take place under the auspices of the UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy.
